Features of the UV / TiO2 Air Filtration System in BioSmart Infrared Heaters
This type of purification technology converts harmful particulates (virus’ and bacteria) and toxic gases (VOC’s) gases into safer compounds such as carbon dioxide and water.
The BioSmart air purification module consists of a UV emitter, a TiO2 membrane, and an optional negative ion generator for conditioning the air. It can run year around with or without the heater.
The UV / TiO2 technology does not require filters to remove and destroy harmful biological contaminates in the air.
UV / TiO2 technology has the ability to break down particles as small as 0.001 microns, including angstrom size VOC’s that can absorb into your lungs and cause
damage (HEPA filters are only able to filter out particles as small as 0.2 microns).
